Daikin VRV - Inverter Compressor & PCB change

ACRC was contacted by a customer with a VRV unit in fault. Once on site we found the fault related to the compressor and or the inverter PCB. System was isolated and the unit covers removed. A Gym in Walsall contacted us stating their air conditioning unit was in fault. Once on site we found the Mitsubishi Heavy A/C unit had a E55 Fault. This fault refers to the “compressor under dome thermistor being disconnected”. Thermistor cables were traced back to the PCB. We found the cables had been chewed apart outside causing the break in the connection. The system was left isolated, and a new sensor ordered.

Chiller Maintenance - Strip down clean

Maintenances are carried out to keep the unit in good working order and to catch any potential problems early. On this maintenance we found the condensate tray was blocked. The blocked chiller drip tray was no longer draining away water as should. Drip tray was removed, cleaned out and treated with disinfectant.
