Home Office Air Conditioning Install
Wall Mounted A/C unit
Location: Hinckley

ACRC was contacted to move an existing wall mounted A/C unit from a home office to a new office that was built inside their garage. Before any work was carried out, we took measurements to ensure the existing wall mount was of the correct duty for the new room. Once we confirmed this, we decommissioned the system. Refrigerant in the pipe work was pumped down into the internal receiver and the pipework disconnected. The new unit position in the garage was agreed, and the unit was fixed to the wall. The new location meant that the unit needed a trunking pump due to the pipe route going straight up. Once the unit was in place the pipework, interconnecting and pump line went up into the garage void and exited to the back brick wall.
The condenser was then mounted on the wall via cantilever arms to keep the floor space clear below. The power was taken from a local isolator provided by an electrician. The power on this system is fed from the outdoor condenser which in return powers the indoor unit. Once everything was connected and in place the pipework was put into a vac and the refrigerant contained in the outdoor unit was released again. Unit then commissioned and ran up and both gauge pressures and air off temperatures were checked.
Sometimes your home or office layout may change, and you may need to move your air conditioning unit. ACRC can decommission your unit and have it moved usually within a day. If you require your units moving, no matter if it’s a small unit like the one above or a larger system, ACRC is perfect for the job.
