ACRC carried out a site survey in a large gym and then attended site to install several Mitsubishi Cassette type air conditioning units. The indoor cassettes and pipework were mounted via the roof girders with channel and rod. Each indoor unit was positioned in a way to provide maximum air flow coverage across the gym. Remote controls were mounted on the wall by the staff working area to stop gym members from tampering with the settings. The remotes also feature advanced timers allowing several different schedules across the week as well as programable restrictions on temperature control and mode if desired.
The outdoor condenser units were supported on the wall of the roof via cantilever support arms. With the outdoor units being on the roof the risk of vandalism damage is minimised and we can also keep the building exterior looking smart.
Once the installation has been carried out, the units are commissioned and tested thoroughly. Refrigerant pressures are checked, internal air off temperatures monitored, drains tested, and local controls set up to the customers requirements.
These latest air conditioning units run on R32 refrigerant which complies with the current refrigerant legislation. Each unit is also inverter driven making them not only economical to run but also extremely efficient. In operation the units are quiet with the ability to change the speed of the internal cassette and outdoor units are quiet.
