Combating Dust & Debris in Industrial Environments
An ACRC LTD service engineer recently attended a quarry site to carry out essential maintenance on all their air conditioning units. Due to the extreme working environment, the outdoor condensers become heavily exposed to dust and dirt. Without intervention, this inevitably leads to a blocked condensing coil, drastically reducing the system's efficiency and lifespan.

Professional Deep Cleaning Techniques
With a routine maintenance plan and the right equipment, keeping these units running like new is not a problem. Our service engineers are fully equipped for these challenging environments, carrying portable jet washes in their vans specifically for heavily soiled units.

For this deep clean, we removed the front fan guard and blade, allowing full access to the rear coil. The accumulated dirt was then pressure-washed from the inside out. This specific technique ensures the dirt and debris are blasted away from the unit rather than being forced further inside.

Restoring Optimal Performance
Once the coil was completely flushed out and clear of debris, the entire unit housing was sprayed and wiped down. Airflow through the outdoor coil has now significantly improved, restoring the system's cooling capacity and preventing costly breakdowns.
