Ducted air conditioning units are much quieter than typical split type A/C unit and can either be hidden in a ceiling with just the supply and return grills showing or be completely on show for a smart industrial look. On this installation the customer wanted the ductwork and indoor unit on show. Each unit and all ductworks were mounted to the ceiling using channel and rod and the pipework fixed to tray. Down the centre of the show room the units and ductwork were positioned to be identical with one another, with the end of each duct having a stylish down blowing circular vent. All pipework followed the tray and connected to the corresponding condenser unit on the side brick wall. The local controller was situated where the staff sit to operate both heating and cooling all year round and minimise tampering by customers coming into the shop. The local controllers offer a wide range of functions such as weekly timers, auto modes, restriction modes and much more.
