An Art gallery in Leicester contacted us requiring air conditioning. A site survey was carried out and we found cassette type air conditioning units would be perfect for the temperature control of such a large open plan space. Cassette air conditioning units disperse the air in 4 different directions making them ideal. The indoor units were hung off channel and rod supports and the pipework was neatly situated on the tray above. The pipe work ran above the units which then connected to the corresponding outdoor units outside on the roof.
The outdoor units were put on rubber support feet to help stabilise the units and minimise vibrations. The pipework on the roof is laid on tray which also sits on rubber support feet, this helps protect the roof and fix the pipework in place.
Once the units were installed, commissioned and tested the customer is given an introduction on how to use the controller and left with a manual to refer to if needed. The cassette type units offer a wide range of different settings such as being able set up weekly timers allowing you to arrive at work with the room already warm or cold and leave without having to worry about it being left on and setting restrictions on what mode the staff can and can’t change.
The Mitsubishi Heavy air conditioning cassettes are inverter driven, meaning you can get fantastic performance from a unit that is running effectively and economically. These are some of the best air conditioning units on the market right now and also come with a fantastic 5 year warranty.
