An established art gallery in Leicester City Centre contacted ACRC requiring a high-performance commercial air conditioning solution. Following a comprehensive site survey, our team determined that ceiling cassette air conditioning units would be the perfect fit to manage the rigorous temperature control demands of such a large, open-plan public space.

Structural Roof-Mounted Engineering & Roof Protection

Our qualified commercial engineers designed this high-end retail installation with a focus on structural safety and neat aesthetics. Internally, the indoor cassette units were securely hung utilizing heavy-duty channel and rod supports, with all refrigerant pipework situated neatly on an elevated tray system hidden above. The internal pipework routed above the units and exited the building infrastructure to connect cleanly with the corresponding outdoor condenser units situated on the roof.

To ensure long-term stability and building protection, the outdoor units were positioned on robust, shock-absorbing rubber support feet designed to minimize structural sound and machine vibrations. Similarly, the pipework running across the roof layout was laid on a dedicated tray system resting on protective rubber feet. This technical step safely distributes the weight, fixes the pipework securely in place, and guards the roof membrane against weather and physical wear.

Smart Control Infrastructure & Energy Efficiency

Once the installation was complete, fully commissioned, and pressure-tested, our engineers provided the client with a comprehensive walkthrough on how to operate the smart controller interface, leaving them with an official reference manual.
