Lexus had an old boiler system which used to heat the show room, this had failed and could not be repaired. The previous system was safely decommissioned and dismantled on site. Once dismantled the parts were removed and disposed of. Measurements were carried out in the building to determine the correct size unit required and outdoor courtyard measurements were done to make sure the new unit would fit in the concealed courtyard space. Once we confirmed the above the unit was ordered and an agreed out of hours’ time was made between us and the client. A crane was used to position the new Daikin air source heat pump and our engineers began to install the unit. Once the unit was installed and connected to the duct work, the system was commissioned and ran up.

Timers were set up so the unit heated the show room before the staff arrived and turned off just after they left. The customer now had the ability to heat and cool the large show room and change the schedule for each day of the week as desired.

A maintenance schedule was then set up to keep the unit running like new. Belts, filters, refrigerant pressures and voltages are to be checked on each visit and the coils shall be brushed down, flushed out and treated with disinfectant. Customer was informed on how to use the controller and a password was put on to stop anyone from being able to alter the settings.
