Open-plan kitchen and conservatory extensions are fantastic spaces, but they suffer from a unique double-heat challenge. Once you begin cooking, the ambient heat from appliances pairs with the greenhouse effect of the conservatory glass, making the room incredibly uncomfortable especially during the summer months when opening a window does little to help.
Fortunately, a dedicated wall-mounted air conditioning system is the perfect solution. For this project, we installed a compact Mitsubishi Heavy wall-mounted AC unit capable of keeping this multi-use kitchen and conservatory space at a comfortable temperature of your choosing, all year round.
- Solving the Dual-Heat Challenge in a Leicester Home Extension
Our qualified engineers designed this residential installation to deliver fast, efficient climate control. Because these modern Mitsubishi Heavy systems feature rapid temperature control, the homeowners can easily switch the unit on right as they begin cooking to instantly combat rising temperatures.
The indoor unit was cleanly fixed to the solid wall, with a precision core hole drilled directly behind it so the internal pipework could exit the property. To protect the external equipment and prevent structural vibrations or sound from transferring through the wall into the home, the outdoor condenser unit was securely mounted on heavy-duty rubber support feet. All external pipework and condensation drains were neatly concealed within weather-resistant white trunking to keep the exterior clean and tidy. Finally, the system was fully connected, commissioned, and pressure-tested.
