How to Stop Air Conditioning Drafts?

Air conditioning drafts can be a problem for people in offices or other situations where individuals are seated in one position for extended periods or are simply near an air conditioning vent.
Thankfully, there are several options to resolve this issue.
You can stop air conditioning drafts by doing the following:
1.) Re-positioning the Louvers Supplying the Air: Changing the direction of the airflow using adjustable louvers can often be the simplest solution to fix the draft. This can be done using the handheld or hardwired controller provided with the unit. If you don't have this function some wall mounted units have physical internal air flow fins that can be altered.
2.) Air Deflectors: Using air deflectors, which either clip onto the louver/vent or hang in front of it, can prevent the air from reaching specific areas. If it's a ducted system (In the ceiling) then a replacement grille designed for stopping drafts could solve the problem.
3.) Disconnecting or Blanking Off One Louver: In certain scenarios, the louver motor on one side can be disconnected, preventing air from coming out of that louver. This is typically only possible with cassette (ceiling) type units.
4.) If you haven't purchased a unit yet, you could buy an Air Conditioning Unit with a Built-in Air Diffuser: Some manufacturers, such as "Midea," offer units with built-in air diffusers, known as "Breezeless." These systems feature perforated vents, providing a more gentle, diffused delivery of air. Mitsubishi Heavy also offers a cassette type A/C unit with built in draft prevention louvers.
